 San Antonio Community
Radio, Incorporated (SACR, Inc.) also known as KROV-FM, is a
non-profit organization, 501(c)(3), committed to providing positive,
high quality, innovative, diverse educational and “info-taining”
local radio programming for San Antonio, Texas.
Born from the loss of the city’s only
African-American targeted secular community stations, KSJL and
KAPE, SACR seeks to improve the quality of radio programming.
SACR, Inc is a community radio station which will operate to the
economic and social good that Black and community radio have
traditionally fostered by motivating citizens to participate in
democracy and work toward positive change in their community.
