SACR provides programming for a diverse audience of citizens seeking inclusive presentations on the radio. Historically under-served communities in broadcasting that SACR assists include African-Americans, Hispanics, Asians, International, Middle Eastern, Central & South American, Caribbean, African, Women, Native American, local artists, international news lovers, progressive talk, nonprofit organizations, religious institutions, and urban contemporary listeners.

SACR works with area colleges, universities, and associations of minority broadcasters to provide educational programming such as broadcasting and journalism fellowships and internship opportunities for students, particularly minorities and international students. Those institutions that have already expressed an interest in our internship program include Trinity University, the University of Texas at San Antonio, and Northwest Vista College. We plan to approach other colleges and universities who do not have a radio station for inclusion in our educational fellowship and internship program.

Disseminate thousands of HD radios for cars and homes and highlight the first national pilot project to bridge the "HD-Radio Divide." By serving this need, SACR and the San Antonio Area Foundation help our community get ahead of the impending HD-Radio crisis, which is the conversion to HD Radio that may leave out minorities, low-income populations, and other historically underserved communities, much like the Digital TV conversion has adversely impacted  .
