Andre Booker Foundation 5k Run on June 30th

The Andre Booker Foundation 5k Run/Walk to help provide higher education scholarships to high school students in the Schertz, Cibolo, Universal City, and San Antonio metro areas, will take place later this month June 30, 2018 at Blue Bonnet Palace, 17630 Lookout Rd. in Selma, Texas with an 8:00a.m. start time.

Award categories include all ages and will honor the top three male and female participants. The entry fee through June, 18th is $25 and goes up to $30 through 6:00p.m. on June 29th. The registration fee on Race Day is $35. All registrants receive a t-shirt and there will be food, beer and music on site.

The Andre Booker Foundation is a nonprofit foundation providing higher education scholarships to high school students by working with local school districts to provide scholarships for students who might not have the resources to attend college. The Andre Booker Foundation’s goal is to give back to the students in memory of beloved friend, brother, and son Andre Terrell Booker who had a passion for helping young people and asserting a sense of hope for their lives in the future. Their scholarships are awarded to students involved in sports and other extracurricular activities, and who exhibit high moral values.

Your support of The Andre Booker Foundation will help achieve “Dre’s” goals and dreams of uplifting the young people in our communities and continue the work he was interested in.
