And on this day in 1936 – NFL All Star Cleveland Browns running back Jim first down Brown was born. He was born James Nathaniel Brown in St. Simons Island in Georgia. 1954-1956 he played half back for Syracuse and he started acting full time in 1965.
And on this day in 1942 – Co-founder of the Black Panthers, Huey P. Newton was born in Monroe, Louisiana. In 1974, he left the United States and lived as a fugitive in Cuba. In 1989, he was gunned down in what was called a drug related incident in Oakland, California.
And on this day in 1963 – Former Chicago Bulls guard, Michael Jordan was born in Brooklyn, New York.
