And on this day in 1963 – Willie Mays signed a one year contract for $100,000 with the San Francisco Giants.
And on this day in 1965 – The Supremes released “Stop In the Name of Love” on Motown Records. Also, on this day in 1971 they released Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On”.
